Weight loss seekers often obsess about the calorie count, fat count, or carbohydrate count of their food. Sometimes the diet drugs are not always ‘the best’. Proteins are often overlooked. Weight loss diets are a perennial favorite topic for most of us. Every day there is a new one that promises you will shed pounds overnight.

While diets do work, exercise is also key. So, my suggestion is before spending money on all those diets is to talk to yourself really if you are willing to stick to a plan, and go thru it if you want to really lose 10 pounds. Exercise should be part of your diet.

Eating habits are no exception. If one engages in the activity of snacking while watching television, one reinforces that habit until finally it became a part of you. Stay away from trans fats -eating even 1 gram of trans fats per day could harm your heart. One of the few supplements I use is fish oil (that I like to call, ‘fish juice’). Effective rapid lose weight diets, require you eat slowly, appreciate the way food tastes, smells and looks. Don’t get distracted while eating.

Eating vegetables reduces your chances of heart disease, cancer, blindness and stroke later in life. So, make a concerted effort to introduce some veggies into your diet, the more the better. Pressing one’s back against a flat surface, the exerciser must then lift his/her legs, allowing the knees to reach the exerciser’s chest. Doing this without arching one’s back would complete the ab exercise.

Exercise Ball Ab Crunch

With the Torso Track Exercise, caution should be given, as an exerciser could injure his/her back if not properly done. The ab exercise starts with the exerciser holding the Torso Track’s handles, and is followed by pulling one’s abs towards one’s torso, completing the exercise.

So that pretty much makes up the five most effective ab exercises. One thing to remember though, ab exercises don’t reduce the fat over the abdomen area, nor do they convert fat into “six pack” abs. Raising one’s metabolism and building more muscles effectively does this. These ab exercises keep the abs trim and fit, not necessarily reduce one’s waistline, or form “washboard abs”.
